Being called a hypocrite is one of the things that we as Christians are called the most. Really tho? Every time I hear that I laugh because it seems that Christians are singled out as exclusively hypocrites!

Now whether you believe in Jesus or not, the Bible says “All have sinned & have fallen short of the glory of God.” The word ALL doesn’t single out Christians, it means everyone, all of us, believer & non believer.

The question we need to ask ourselves is why are we singled out? Could it be that the non believer holds us to a higher standard? That they expect more from us because of what the Bible says? Here’s something to think about… John‬ ‭13:35 says “This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.”

Are we called hypocrites because we actually are or because we don’t show love for each other & so we’re not recognized?
